Gemelli FC's Eddy Schokkenbroek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Kostermans in the 75th minute of play. All Stars's Bill van den Eede got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gemelli FC's goalkeeper Eddy Schokkenbroek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute Herman Kostermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Schokkenbroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The All Stars supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gemelli FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gemelli FC.
