The supporters of Valtesino United booed when Burnley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Tarantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Ennio Zinni fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arif Oğuz Cantürk, passed just outside the right post. Valtesino United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Giansante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Flavio Giansante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arif Oğuz Cantürk was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Ennio Zinni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arif Oğuz Cantürk. When Ennio Zinni came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Valtesino United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ennio Zinni couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Valtesino United had played much better football throughout.
