In the 78th minute, Anfilogino Pace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Galli took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Torelli. Alfredo Torelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Manfredonia Calcio 1932 made a substitution. Jim Asmundsson replaced Ernesto Giandomenico. Manfredonia Calcio 1932's Antonello Iacovella was substituted for Christian Buonanno. Jim Asmundsson charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Asmundsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Trento Calcio 1921 booed when Manfredonia Calcio 1932 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position.
