The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 9 minutes, Enzo Andreassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sconvols United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Andreassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Enzo Andreassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filippo Barbato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Andreassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Enzo Andreassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Filippo Barbato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mădălin Nicolau came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sconvols United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mădălin Nicolau couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Enzo Andreassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sconvols United's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Andreassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filippo Barbato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. XMAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sconvols United the free kick. The supporters of Sconvols United booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Minichiello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Andreassi struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Filippo Barbato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sconvols United. In the 35th minute, Bernardo Mandelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind XMAS's goalkeeper Filippo Barbato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Ahmet Seyfi Koralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Marchesani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Minichiello's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The XMAS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sconvols United were winning 0-1.

Bernardo Mandelli hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Enzo Andreassi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filippo Barbato, 0-2. With a little luck, XMAS's Filippo Barbato got control of the ball when Enzo Andreassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Sconvols United's Cristoforo Daniele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filippo Barbato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enzo Andreassi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filippo Barbato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Sconvols United's Enzo Andreassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filippo Barbato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. XMAS's Filippo Barbato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save XMAS from getting a goal against them. Sconvols United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
