After a defensive mix-up in ASD Real Molinella 1911's zone, Dedé Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomé Montenegro came out of the goal and Dedé Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Firmani in the 93rd minute of play forced ASD USAC's goalkeeper Francesco Ferraro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Renato Chaves made a precise shot to the right of Francesco Ferraro. ASD USAC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. ASD Real Molinella 1911's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
