Giancarlo Antognoni came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Francesco Ferraro could save by the left post. When Carmine Milani fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LIVIOFOREVER's protests and gave Carmine Milani a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes LIVIOFOREVER got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Milani. After the first half ASD USAC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

LIVIOFOREVER's Fabiano Rago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Novaes in the 53rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ASD USAC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
