The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Mees got free with Danilo Vaz in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Greenboys FC's goalkeeper Danilo Vaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Mees. After 17 minutes, Zsolt Füzesi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greenboys FC and the FC Henter Somosd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zsolt Füzesi kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Frank Mees might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Vaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Mees ran back to his position shaking his head. Danilo Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Mees in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Ulises Ugaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greenboys FC's Danilo Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Ugaitz in the 26th minute of play. Danilo Vaz came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Henter Somosd's Tamás Antal. But to his dismay, Tamás Antal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Greenboys FC's Danilo Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Ugaitz in the 36th minute of play. Ulises Ugaitz scored 2-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Vaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the game, Václav Bednařík was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Greenboys FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Henter Somosd the free kick. FC Henter Somosd's Bart van Goetsenhoven was substituted for Ottó Hudák. In the 45th minute, Václav Bednařík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Tamás Antal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Danilo Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Danilo Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Mees, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Greenboys FC's Zsolt Füzesi in the 53rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gábor Király was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for FC Henter Somosd through an amazing save. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Tamás Antal put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Vaz. Greenboys FC's Danilo Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnd Schade in the 64th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Greenboys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnd Schade came free, but Danilo Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnd Schade in the 71st minute of play. Danilo Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnd Schade in the 72nd minute of the match. Danilo Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart van Goetsenhoven, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ulises Ugaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Danilo Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Frank Mees managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Henter Somosd's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Mees was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 82 minutes, Róbert Kutas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greenboys FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbert Kutas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Ugaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Henter Somosd defense, Róbert Kutas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gábor Király. The FC Henter Somosd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gábor Király should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute Frank Mees shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Greenboys FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Henter Somosd.
