Armand Mondon took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Charles Sauvaget. Jean-Charles Sauvaget dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Perthes United's Armand Mondon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean-Charles Sauvaget made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Germain Hocquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jean-Marie Sanquer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Charles Sauvaget was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armand Mondon kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Cellule getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Youri Defontaine hit a great ball. Jean-Marie Sanquer made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Germain Hocquet sent off a good shot on target. If Hercule Basque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adil Albrecht succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. In the 42nd match minute, Perthes United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hercule Basque to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Charles Sauvaget showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loïc Curt in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Perthes United were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adil Albrecht made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Adil Albrecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Sanquer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Pierre-Louis Berrier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perthes United's Patrice Lambolez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jean-Charles Sauvaget but with some difficulty. Armand Mondon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cellule's Hakim Caillaud was substituted for Pierre-Louis Berrier. Jean-Charles Sauvaget took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loïc Curt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cellule's Jean-Charles Sauvaget played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Édouard Vie in the 73rd minute of play. Jean-Charles Sauvaget showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loïc Curt in the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Loïc Curt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perthes United's supporters rose to their feet, but Loïc Curt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Charles Sauvaget breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean-Charles Sauvaget made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Armand Mondon sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Cellule's Hakim Caillaud got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 89th match minute, Cellule was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Rousselet to maneuver through the defense. Youri Defontaine hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Perthes United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cellule.
