Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Dionisio Hidalgo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SNG FC's Mero Llorente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mero Llorente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xabat Portillo in the 13th minute of play. Isi Courtois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Mero Llorente managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Atlético Maravilla's Quentin Gonzalez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 19 minutes into the match, Dionisio Hidalgo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mero Llorente, 3-0. Xabat Portillo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Atlético Maravilla's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. SNG FC's Mero Llorente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save SNG FC from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Atlético Maravilla's Quentin Gonzalez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mero Llorente. Mero Llorente yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 28th minute, Quentin Gonzalez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mero Llorente was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Isi Courtois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SNG FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Dionisio Hidalgo scored to the left of an out of position Mero Llorente, making the score, 7-0. 39 minutes into the game, Dionisio Hidalgo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mero Llorente. Dionisio Hidalgo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 8-0. Isi Courtois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Dionisio Hidalgo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mero Llorente, 9-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xorxe Jauregui stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cordairo Segura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xorxe Jauregui in the 53rd minute of play. Mero Llorente came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Maravilla's Xabat Portillo. But to his dismay, Xabat Portillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Mero Llorente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xabat Portillo in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, SNG FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Hidalgo came free, but Mero Llorente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casildo Serena kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Mero Llorente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xabat Portillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Isi Courtois ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mero Llorente was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Atlético Maravilla's Leopoldo de Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the SNG FC defense, Dionisio Hidalgo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mero Llorente. The SNG FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mero Llorente should have stopped the shot. Dionisio Hidalgo scored 13-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mero Llorente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mero Llorente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Gonzalez in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the SNG FC defense, Dionisio Hidalgo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mero Llorente. The SNG FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mero Llorente should have stopped the shot. Isi Courtois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mero Llorente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Dionisio Hidalgo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mero Llorente. SNG FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Hidalgo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 17-0. If Dionisio Hidalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlético Maravilla's Isi Courtois got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atlético Maravilla fully deserved thier win.
