Edward Achterdeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Tegtmeyer in the 7th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, 1. FC Ratzeburg's goalkeeper Edward Achterdeck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerhard LaRouche. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudolf Harloff got free with Edward Achterdeck in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to 1. FC Ratzeburg getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Torsten Schug hit a great ball. The 1. FC Ratzeburg fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when 1. FC Ratzeburg's Alwin Schauberger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 24 played minutes 1. FC Ratzeburg got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Schug. In the 25th minute Marcel Tegtmeyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Achterdeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 28 minutes on the clock, Odo Zimmermann commited a dangerous tackle. FC Ratzeburg's Torsten Schug quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The wind increased when Marcel Tegtmeyer made the kick off in the second half. Edward Achterdeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Tegtmeyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Achterdeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Harloff in the 54th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Alwin Schauberger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 67 minutes into the match, Rudolf Harloff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edward Achterdeck. 1. FC Ratzeburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rudolf Harloff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Edward Achterdeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerhard LaRouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Alwin Schauberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 80 minutes, Thierry Braunheim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1. FC Ratzeburg and the FC Kekospor 23 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute of the match Amatus Reh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edward Achterdeck skillfully saved the ball.
