Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Helmut Krohm started the match with the kick off. Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Welf Weller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Mikel booed when Antfeld FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Kramer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes Antfeld FSV got a freekick which was hit by Ali Ertan Götz. When Bruno Kanoneks came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Antfeld FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Kanoneks couldn't finish the play. After 27 played minutes Hendrik Westerman rounded Antfeld FSV's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Kanoneks in the 30th minute of play forced FC Mikel's goalkeeper Johannes Kunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Helmut Krohm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johannes Kunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Kanoneks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Welf Weller having to interfere.

After 59 minutes, Udo Oberleitner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Antfeld FSV and the FC Mikel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Udo Oberleitner kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Hendrik Westerman came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FC Mikel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hendrik Westerman couldn't finish the play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes Antfeld FSV got a freekick which was hit by Udo Oberleitner. In the 68th minute, Udo Oberleitner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Welf Weller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Mikel. Welf Weller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hendrik Westerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Harald Hellmich was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Antfeld FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Mikel the free kick. After 96 played minutes Antfeld FSV got a freekick which was hit by Harald Hellmich. FC Mikel's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
