In the 43rdth minute of the game Dieter Henze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kekospor 23's Johannes Eichwald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johannes Eichwald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Henze in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerhard LaRouche to make the kick off.
