Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Merten Jakobs made the kick off which started today's match. Ruben Hoppe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik Westerman in the 6th minute of play. Johannes Kunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merten Jakobs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Merten Jakobs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Johannes Kunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Mikel's Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Merten Jakobs kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ruben Hoppe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Mikel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrik Westerman in the 27th minute of play forced Sport Club Giresun's goalkeeper Ruben Hoppe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Hendrik Westerman sped through Sport Club Giresun's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruben Hoppe. 32 minutes into the match, Merten Jakobs notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Mikel's Johannes Kunter. Johannes Kunter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hendrik Westerman hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Hendrik Westerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Hoppe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hendrik Westerman to strike the kick off in the second half. Johannes Kunter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Günther Reh in the 53rd minute. Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ruben Hoppe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Sport Club Giresun's goal looked a bit too open when Hendrik Westerman came free, but Ruben Hoppe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Mikel's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Hoppe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valerius Schwede kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes, FC Mikel's Andi Scholl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruben Hoppe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Mikel reached it. In the 69th minute of the match Benno Stockert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Hoppe skillfully saved the ball. Johannes Kunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merten Jakobs, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ruben Hoppe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani in the 81st minute of play forced Sport Club Giresun's goalkeeper Ruben Hoppe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, FC Mikel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hendrik Westerman to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ruben Hoppe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sport Club Giresun's Ruben Hoppe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik Westerman in the 90th minute of play. If Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ruben Hoppe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sport Club Giresun getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Valerius Schwede hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Sport Club Giresun's goal looked a bit too open when Hendrik Westerman came free, but Ruben Hoppe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Hoppe. Sport Club Giresun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Mam Rostami Boukani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. When the referee ended the match the FC Mikel players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
