Arne Garden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Geraer Füchse e.V.97's goal looked a bit too open when Hassan Pecha came free, but Arne Garden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Garden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Goldmann in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carsten Balzer got free with Arne Garden in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gottlieb Brendel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Dennis Goldmann made a precise shot to the right of Arne Garden. Geraer Füchse e.V.97's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
