An unexpectedly hard shot by Jannes Zebrowski in the 10th minute of play forced Bökenbusch's goalkeeper Zeno Schilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Jannes Zebrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeno Schilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benny Schmelter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pio Franiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeno Schilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lutz Dresdner, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, Bökenbusch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Mouratidis to maneuver through the defense. Zeno Schilde made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Janko Latocha sent off a good shot on target. SV Roge's Janko Latocha got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Neuling made a kick off. After a rather tough play, SV Roge's Leon Sauer got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute Bökenbusch were awarded a corner. David Neuling went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Sven Weckenmann at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of SV Roge. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Janko Latocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Roge's supporters rose to their feet, but Janko Latocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeno Schilde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeno Schilde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jannes Zebrowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Peitsch made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bökenbusch's Sven Weckenmann. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janko Latocha in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeno Schilde saved Bökenbusch from getting behind. If Benny Schmelter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bökenbusch's Zeno Schilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janko Latocha in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Jannes Zebrowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zeno Schilde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leon Sauer kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bökenbusch's Theodor Röwe got a free kick in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bökenbusch's zone, Rappo Tetzlaff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeno Schilde came out of the goal and Rappo Tetzlaff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The SV Roge players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
