SG Massen's Ashley Burgbacher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Aschenbrenner in the 9th minute of play. Jakov Fleiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Sven Aschenbrenner reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ashley Burgbacher. The goal made the score 1-0. Meyer Zu Bargholz's Volker Bretzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balthasar Korsus in the 27th minute of play. Jannick Butz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Volker Bretzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balthasar Korsus in the 28th minute of play. Gernot Witty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Ashley Burgbacher made a huge save. Volker Bretzel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balthasar Korsus's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakov Fleiner in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volker Bretzel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Volker Bretzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakov Fleiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SG Massen's Balthasar Korsus got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ashley Burgbacher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Aschenbrenner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes, Hubert Hareter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SG Massen and the Meyer Zu Bargholz players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven Aschenbrenner was the one to do the kick off. Christoph Jähnigen kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes SG Massen got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Hareter. If Gernot Witty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sven Aschenbrenner came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Meyer Zu Bargholz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Aschenbrenner couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jakov Fleiner got free with Volker Bretzel in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, SG Massen's Mauritz Jan Schmiederkal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volker Bretzel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Jakov Fleiner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Helmar Kissling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
