Garry Nietlisbach made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Matteo Wocher however managed to control. When Xander Brünisholz fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored K12 Academy's protests and gave Xander Brünisholz a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes K12 Academy got a freekick which was hit by Xander Brünisholz. When Suruçspor's Ceddric Ceroli in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye K12 Academy's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Ceddric Ceroli put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Oliver Stol. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Rütimann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oliver Stol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceddric Ceroli in the 52nd minute of play. If Ceddric Ceroli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceddric Ceroli was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ceddric Ceroli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Oliver Stol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Aldo Schroeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suruçspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Schroeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliver Stol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceddric Ceroli in the 77th minute of the match. Suruçspor's Theo Nagel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Rütimann in the 79th minute of play. Oliver Stol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceddric Ceroli, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Aldo Schroeder came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Suruçspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Schroeder couldn't finish the play. Suruçspor's Vitus Lüdi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oliver Stol but with some difficulty. With a little luck, K12 Academy's Oliver Stol got control of the ball when Ceddric Ceroli tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Ceddric Ceroli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Meier during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Suruçspor getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lars Meier hit a great ball. Theo Nagel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Rütimann, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The K12 Academy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Suruçspor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
