Theo Nagel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerom Campigli went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Suruçspor's goalkeeper Theo Nagel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Högger. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerom Campigli got free with Theo Nagel in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ceddric Ceroli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute, Ceddric Ceroli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Albatros's Emil Fiorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Theo Nagel. That made the score 3-1 after 31 minutes of play. Theo Nagel was a little too slow when Louie Biland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceddric Ceroli in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serenus Nussbaum saved FC Albatros from getting behind. Jack Högger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Theo Nagel made a huge save. Emil Fiorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Louie Biland to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Suruçspor's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Högger came free, but Theo Nagel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A long shot from Vitus Lüdi in the 54th minute of play was well struck, but Serenus Nussbaum made a really good save at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Aldo Schroeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serenus Nussbaum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceddric Ceroli's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Theo Nagel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louie Biland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Suruçspor's goal looked a bit too open when Louie Biland came free, but Theo Nagel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Suruçspor defense, Emil Fiorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theo Nagel. The Suruçspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theo Nagel should have stopped the shot. In the 88th match minute, Suruçspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farid Hangl to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute Farid Hangl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serenus Nussbaum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Suruçspor's goal looked a bit too open when Mika Klein came free, but Theo Nagel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Albatros walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
