Mikel Schuler charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikel Schuler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SpVgg Blauer Platz getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mikel Schuler hit a great ball. Jonas Peter hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute Marc Koller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pius Jung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Eduardo Seeholzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pius Jung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Tobler in the 10th minute of play. Geraldo Tobler kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Mischa Schwartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Patricius Neumann had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After a rather tough play, Jokers United's Malwin Dietrich got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute of the match SpVgg Blauer Platz got a corner. Jokers United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henry Moor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henry Moor made a great header on SpVgg Blauer Platz's corner, it was just that Jokers United's Piero Brünisholz managed to reach the ball for a save. 29 minutes into the game, Herbie Reimann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SpVgg Blauer Platz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jokers United the free kick. Herbie Reimann kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Geraldo Tobler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Peter made a kick off. Marc Koller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Pius Jung made a huge save. Andreas Dubois recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marc Koller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pius Jung came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jokers United's Geraldo Tobler. But to his dismay, Geraldo Tobler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 68th minute when Geraldo Tobler elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 71 minutes, Marc Koller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jokers United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Koller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geraldo Tobler was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Jokers United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 0-3 became the score in the 74th minute when Marc Koller elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonas Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piero Brünisholz having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Camillo Grossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jokers United and the SpVgg Blauer Platz players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SpVgg Blauer Platz booed when Jokers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Grossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Geraldo Tobler came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Jokers United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geraldo Tobler couldn't finish the play. Geraldo Tobler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Pius Jung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
