In the 21st match minute, Tegerfelden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lothaire Wyser to maneuver through the defense. Tony Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baptiste Maurer in the 28th minute of play. Baptiste Maurer struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Tony Frey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Schönenwerd. Tony Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alois Zihler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Baptiste Maurer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Frey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tegerfelden booed when Fc Schönenwerd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tegerfelden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Schönenwerd the free kick. A collision led to Tegerfelden getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Lothaire Wyser hit a great ball. When Alois Zihler came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Fc Schönenwerd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alois Zihler couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Wertscher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bob Merkt hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Goran Pfeiffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bob Merkt kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Tony Frey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alois Zihler in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Tegerfelden got a freekick which was hit by Enea Wechsler. Enea Wechsler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Henri Weiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Rodrigo Wertscher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tegerfelden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Wertscher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Rodrigo Wertscher made a precise shot to the right of Henri Weiss. Fc Schönenwerd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Alois Zihler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Frey having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the match, Baptiste Maurer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tony Frey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
