Spectators: 8427 (Terracing: 6321, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francois Strebel started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Schumacher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thoralf Betz in the 4th minute of play forced Karakartal JK's goalkeeper Artur Walter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthias Zeiher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jared Labrie having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Zürich's Jared Labrie got control of the ball when Francois Strebel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francois Strebel in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jared Labrie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Artur Walter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxime Geisseler in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Franklin Amsel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Maxime Geisseler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franklin Amsel kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Jared Labrie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francois Strebel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes Matthias Zeiher rounded FC Zürich's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Karakartal JK's Artur Walter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxime Geisseler in the 29th minute of play. Fabrizio Fridli took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jared Labrie. Jared Labrie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Francois Strebel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jared Labrie came out and tried to block the shot, but Francois Strebel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. If Maxime Geisseler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thoralf Betz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, FC Zürich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Guibord to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute Francois Strebel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jared Labrie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jared Labrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francois Strebel in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Karakartal JK's Franklin Amsel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jared Labrie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Francois Strebel notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Zürich's Jared Labrie. Jared Labrie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Matthias Zeiher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Zürich's Jared Labrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francois Strebel in the 72nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Thoralf Betz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artur Walter. That made the score 4-1 in the 73 minute of play. Jared Labrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francois Strebel in the 78th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Denis Gerber made a precise shot to the right of Jared Labrie. FC Zürich's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The supporters of FC Zürich booed when Karakartal JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Barth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Schumacher's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Artur Walter on his right side and into the goal. 87 minutes into the game it was 5-2. In the 93rd minute, Matthias Zeiher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karakartal JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. A collision led to FC Zürich getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Maxime Geisseler hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Karakartal JK fully deserved thier win.
