The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Perktold got free with Endrik Galliker in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute of the match, Joao Lemmenmeier tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Endrik Galliker saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Winterthur's Jonas Muff got a free kick in the 21st minute. Endrik Galliker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Perktold in the 27th minute. The supporters of Winterthur booed when Moon Night Fighter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lionel 柯景云 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Carl Nannarone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Matt Rösli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Endrik Galliker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Matt Rösli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winterthur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt Rösli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvester Alessandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Nannarone in the 45th minute of play. When Moon Night Fighter's Carl Nannarone in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winterthur's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Matt Rösli made the kick off in the second half. Endrik Galliker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matt Rösli in the 58th minute of the match. Moon Night Fighter's Lionel 柯景云 couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Winterthur. With a little luck, Winterthur's Silvester Alessandro got control of the ball when Carl Nannarone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moon Night Fighter were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Winterthur's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lionel 柯景云 took the corner. Lionel 柯景云 made a great header on Moon Night Fighter's corner, it was just that Winterthur's Silvester Alessandro managed to reach the ball for a save. With 65 minutes on the clock, Kristof Wermelinger commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Perktold in the 74th minute of play forced Moon Night Fighter's goalkeeper Endrik Galliker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Matt Rösli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Endrik Galliker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the match, Moon Night Fighter's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Rösli came free, but Endrik Galliker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Endrik Galliker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Rösli in the 94th minute of play. Allan Perktold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Endrik Galliker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Winterthur had played much better football throughout.
