Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Jared Labrie successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Zürich's Jared Labrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Wertscher in the 10th minute of play. Enea Wechsler scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jared Labrie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enea Wechsler got free with Jared Labrie in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Zürich getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Casimir Lessard hit a great ball. Maxime Geisseler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tony Frey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tegerfelden's Tony Frey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Schumacher in the 26th minute of play. Thoralf Betz took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Frey. Tony Frey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Rodrigo Wertscher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jared Labrie was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Jared Labrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Wertscher in the 35th minute of the match. Jared Labrie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enea Wechsler in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes FC Zürich got a freekick which was hit by Casimir Lessard. Jared Labrie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Wertscher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Enea Wechsler notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of FC Zürich's Jared Labrie. Jared Labrie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Claudius Wiesi kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Zürich's Remo Rusterholz got a free kick in the 96th minute. Tegerfelden's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
