Ricardo Haags short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Bernard Cimini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Ricardo Haag put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bernard Cimini. An unexpectedly hard shot by Massimo Poulin in the 13th minute of play forced Lionel hay uno solo's goalkeeper Bernard Cimini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Ricardo Haag put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bernard Cimini. 28 minutes into the game, Ricardo Haag cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bernard Cimini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benoit Wy's late challenge caught a SIRI United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Ricardo Haag had several of the Lionel hay uno solo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Bernard Cimini as he didn't even see the shot coming. SIRI United's Gerold Thoma got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernard Cimini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Massimo Poulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Haag to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Lionel hay uno solo defense, Ricardo Haag kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Cimini. The Lionel hay uno solo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Cimini should have stopped the shot. After having played for 55 minutes, Gerold Thoma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The SIRI United fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when SIRI United's Ricardo Haag looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 79th match minute, SIRI United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Jago to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Duong Gruenenfelder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Cañizares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Petermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lionel hay uno solo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
