With a little luck, Eendracht Vooruit's Atay Türegün got control of the ball when Stein Van Eyke tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute Tommi Armentier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian De Vleeschauwere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florian De Vleeschauwere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommi Armentier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian De Vleeschauwere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommi Armentier in the 19th minute of the match. Balu De Hond hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lou Cromefeldt in the 22nd minute of play forced Eendracht Vooruit's goalkeeper Atay Türegün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Rossem were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Eendracht Vooruit's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Crispijn Deprez took the corner. 27 minutes into the match, Fc Rossem's goal looked a bit too open when Tommi Armentier came free, but Florian De Vleeschauwere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommi Armentier in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian De Vleeschauwere saved Fc Rossem from getting behind. Eendracht Vooruit's Long Zhen Zhi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yannik Van der Meiren in the 31 minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Tommi Armentier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eendracht Vooruit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tommi Armentier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Fc Rossem's goal looked a bit too open when Tommi Armentier came free, but Florian De Vleeschauwere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Tommi Armentier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Florian De Vleeschauwere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Eendracht Vooruit were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Yannik Van der Meiren made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Eendracht Vooruit's Balu De Hond. A collision led to Eendracht Vooruit getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Long Zhen Zhi hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Long Zhen Zhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atay Türegün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stein Van Eyke in the 58th minute of play. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stein Van Eyke in the 60th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Eendracht Vooruit's goal looked a bit too open when Stein Van Eyke came free, but Atay Türegün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Crispijn Deprez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Eendracht Vooruit's Atay Türegün did a great save. Florian De Vleeschauwere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gery Burhanuddin in the 65th minute. The audience was convinced that Gery Burhanuddin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florian De Vleeschauwere was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Eendracht Vooruit's Gery Burhanuddin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florian De Vleeschauwere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florian De Vleeschauwere was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Gery Burhanuddin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gery Burhanuddin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Jiang Zhen Sen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian De Vleeschauwere having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gery Burhanuddin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florian De Vleeschauwere. That made the score 0-5 in the 85 minute of play. Gery Burhanuddin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian De Vleeschauwere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gery Burhanuddin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florian De Vleeschauwere was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Eendracht Vooruit's corner Balu De Hond fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Florian De Vleeschauwere quite easily take care of the ball. Eendracht Vooruit's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
