Hector Goons hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Blanchaert during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 25 minutes into the match, FC Soccer Bears's goalkeeper Gösta Smed had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gust Van Dijck. SK Mons's Gust Van Dijck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gösta Smed in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 27 minutes into the match, Bogumil Czapski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gösta Smed, 2-1. The SK Mons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trevor Eubank made a kick off. The supporters of FC Soccer Bears booed when SK Mons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kong Sen Chen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SK Mons fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when SK Mons's Trevor Eubank looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Soccer Bears's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SK Mons had won after a very even match.
