After a defensive mix-up in Maasmechelen Esox Lucius's zone, Marcus Johnson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck came out of the goal and Marcus Johnson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Koninckx in the 13th minute of play forced fc eendenpad's goalkeeper Andreas Boegaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maasmechelen Esox Lucius's Will Koninckx pulled a muscle in his back after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 15 minutes into the game, Kristiaan De Vleeschauwere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc eendenpad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maasmechelen Esox Lucius the free kick. Maasmechelen Esox Lucius's Robbie Quvelirs was substituted for Will Koninckx. In the 16th minute, Kristiaan De Vleeschauwere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Valckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Steff Van den Berchen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Maasmechelen Esox Lucius's Norbert Portmans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Boegaerts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 31st minute, Willem Olbrechts made a precise shot to the right of Andreas Boegaerts. fc eendenpad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, fc eendenpad's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Portmans came free, but Andreas Boegaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th minute Ronny Valckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in fc eendenpad's zone, Willem Olbrechts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Boegaerts came out of the goal and Willem Olbrechts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Perry Uyterhelcht hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Robbie Quvelirs struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Andreas Boegaerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maasmechelen Esox Lucius. Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Marcus Johnson took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck. Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

Marcus Johnson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Maasmechelen Esox Lucius's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Johnson came free, but Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of fc eendenpad booed when Maasmechelen Esox Lucius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. The corner ended in Luke Geldhof almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but fc eendenpad's Andreas Boegaerts did a great save. Andreas Boegaerts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willem Olbrechts went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Steven Goemyne kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. fc eendenpad's Perry Uyterhelcht got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Maasmechelen Esox Lucius left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than fc eendenpad.
