The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jörg Richters was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Jörg Richters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 62 minutes into the match, Hofmark FC's goalkeeper Jonas Goldmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Krughöfer. Jonas Goldmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Slütters in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Jannik Abt made a precise shot to the right of Cedric Brückner. Wacker Wiener Neustadt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 78 minutes into the match, Wacker Wiener Neustadt's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian-Michael Peelen came free, but Cedric Brückner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jörg Richters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximilian-Michael Peelen took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cedric Brückner. Cedric Brückner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Tobi Wenning took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cedric Brückner. Wacker Wiener Neustadt's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kim Krughöfer struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jonas Goldmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wacker Wiener Neustadt. In the 93rd minute, Henk Schuster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wacker Wiener Neustadt's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
