Julius Schnackenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Joppe in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of SK Sturm II booed when Stammersdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Berresch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julius Schnackenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernd Unterligauer in the 35th minute. Stammersdorf's Julius Schnackenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Stammersdorf from getting a goal against them. If Andy Joppe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 49 minutes, Bernd Unterligauer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Sturm II's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernd Unterligauer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

56 minutes into the match, SK Sturm II's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Pichorner came free, but Klaus Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lothar Sann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andy Joppe scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julius Schnackenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernd Unterligauer struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Julius Schnackenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Sturm II. In the 77th minute Bernd Unterligauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Schnackenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zupancic kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Bernd Unterligauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Andy Joppe sped through Stammersdorf's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julius Schnackenberg. Klaus Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Pichorner in the 85th minute of play. If Andy Joppe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute.
