A collision led to Rapid Wien getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jan-Erik Stockbauer hit a great ball. 3 minutes into the match, Rapid Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Kleimeier came free, but Alf Tempel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Daniel Hagedorn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glashoch Rangers's Steffen Partsch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Steffen Partsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Kraft in the 10th minute of play. Steffen Partsch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Kraft went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Mirco Kähler came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Rapid Wien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mirco Kähler couldn't finish the play. Steffen Partsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Kraft in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, Rapid Wien's Robin Dommröse made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steffen Partsch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glashoch Rangers's Steffen Partsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Kraft in the 19th minute of play. Robin Dommröse succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Robin Dommröse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Hagedorn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Steffen Partsch made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julien-Nils Bosch during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Glashoch Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Julien-Nils Bosch. Glashoch Rangers's Steffen Partsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Kraft in the 29th minute of play. Steffen Partsch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robin Dommröse in the 30th minute. Robin Dommröse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Steffen Partsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Albert Kraft ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steffen Partsch was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When Alexander Lenz fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glashoch Rangers's protests and gave Alexander Lenz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Alexander Lenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Rapid Wien's Daniel Hagedorn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. In the 42nd minute, Mirco Kähler made a precise shot to the right of Steffen Partsch. Glashoch Rangers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Steffen Partsch was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Albert Kraft capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albert Kraft really showed his touch with that goal: 8-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis-Sven Strobl to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Glashoch Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Neumann. After having played for 53 minutes, Tommy Bongartz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapid Wien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Bongartz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steffen Partsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mirco Kähler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steffen Partsch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 64 minutes of play, Rapid Wien's Daniel Hagedorn made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steffen Partsch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glashoch Rangers's Steffen Partsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Hagedorn in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Dennis Neumann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glashoch Rangers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rapid Wien the free kick. The supporters of Rapid Wien booed when Glashoch Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Neumann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steffen Partsch came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid Wien's Daniel Hagedorn. But to his dismay, Daniel Hagedorn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Glashoch Rangers's Steffen Partsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Hagedorn in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute Robin Dommröse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Partsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis-Sven Strobl in the 79th minute of play forced Rapid Wien's goalkeeper Alf Tempel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th match minute, Glashoch Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Lenz to maneuver through the defense. Rapid Wien made a substitution. Sergio Skoczylas replaced Robin Dommröse. Steffen Partsch came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid Wien's Sergio Skoczylas. But to his dismay, Sergio Skoczylas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. Glashoch Rangers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Hagedorn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. Sergio Skoczylas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Steffen Partsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steffen Partsch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Kraft went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 15-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 16-0 when Sergio Skoczylas sped through Glashoch Rangers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Steffen Partsch. There was no doubt that Rapid Wien were the better team. Rapid Wien's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
