Ailton Tremura started the match with the kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Afonso Amado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Madrid's Alão Felício was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Desert Fury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Fernandes Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Nuno Jacaré sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Dikaté skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Amado in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alão Felício saved Real Madrid from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Afonso Amado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alão Felício was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the game, Quim Lima Clemente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desert Fury the free kick. In the 12th minute, Quim Lima Clemente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Afonso Amado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alão Felício was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The Desert Fury fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Desert Fury's Afonso Amado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Afonso Amado put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alão Felício. 26 minutes into the match, Afonso Amado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alão Felício. Real Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Amado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Nuno Ramos sped through Real Madrid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alão Felício. In the 31st minute, Ailton Flores ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alão Felício was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Nuno Dikaté made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quim Lima Clemente in the 34th minute of play. Alão Felício showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Amado in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Amado in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alão Felício prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Desert Fury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Madrid's Nuno Jacaré couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Desert Fury.

The wind increased when Ailton Flores made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Quim Lima Clemente notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Desert Fury's Nuno Dikaté. Nuno Dikaté was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Ramos in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alão Felício saved Real Madrid from getting behind. Nuno Ramos took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alão Felício. Alão Felício dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Alão Felício stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Carlos Caneças's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Desert Fury's Zé Fernandes Braga got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Fábio Quilempan got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Ailton Flores fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. João Carlos Caneças received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Alão Felício tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, João Carlos Caneças reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alão Felício. The goal made the score 1-8. Alão Felício made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ailton Flores in the 77th minute. Fábio Vila-Santa hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Nuno Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alão Felício. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. Ailton Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the last second Alão Felício throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nuno Ramos in the 86thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Marílio Mantorras's late challenge caught a Desert Fury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marílio Mantorras helped the player get up and apologised. Marílio Mantorras hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Ailton Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Zamora in the 96th minute of play forced Desert Fury's goalkeeper Nuno Dikaté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desert Fury played a much better game than Real Madrid and deserved their victory. The Real Madrid players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
