Mădălin Huțupan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Iosif, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gigel Iosif managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Gerula's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigel Iosif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mădălin Huțupan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lucky Ultras's Dinu Angheluță got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Gigel Iosif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lucky Ultras's Dinu Angheluță got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jens Fandrup to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Alexandru Popescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Huțupan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucky Ultras's Mădălin Huțupan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Iosif in the 62nd minute of play. Mădălin Fulga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Iosif in the 69th minute of play forced Lucky Ultras's goalkeeper Mădălin Huțupan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lucky Ultras fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Cristi Poenaru walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. FC Gerula's Vlad Bercea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Fandrup in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to FC Gerula getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Nechifor Deșliu hit a great ball. FC Gerula's Vlad Bercea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Fandrup in the 95th minute of play. The Lucky Ultras supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Gerula's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Gerula.
