Spectators: 5798 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eric Birișu started the match with the kick off. 15 minutes into the match, Corneliu Şteţ notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Fc Sighet Alexandra's Sebastian Codrea. Sebastian Codrea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the game, Vlad Malcocea threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fc Farul 1983's Augustin Geoană quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 22nd match minute, Fc Farul 1983 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Bărănescu to maneuver through the defense. Octavian Mincu charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavian Mincu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Fc Sighet Alexandra a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eric Birișu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fc Farul 1983's Sever Caramitru. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Fc Farul 1983's Corneliu Şteţ got a free kick in the 28th minute. Octavian Mincu got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Fc Farul 1983:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc Sighet Alexandra:s goal. Fc Farul 1983's Sever Caramitru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Birișu in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Fc Farul 1983's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Birișu came free, but Sever Caramitru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Birișu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Eric Birișu scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sever Caramitru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gică Lucan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Sebastian Codrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Marinică in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Fc Sighet Alexandra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Sărăroiu to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gică Lucan was the one to do the kick off. Ioan Oroian hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Olimpiu Iosifian in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fc Farul 1983's Ernest Bărănescu. Panait Marinică struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sebastian Codrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Farul 1983. Sebastian Codrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gică Lucan in the 60th minute of the match. Manole Bungescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 62nd playminute. When Corneliu Şteţ came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Fc Farul 1983 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corneliu Şteţ couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Codrea came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Farul 1983's Panait Marinică. But to his dismay, Panait Marinică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Gică Lucan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sever Caramitru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Birișu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Corneliu Şteţ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Farul 1983's supporters rose to their feet, but Corneliu Şteţ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Codrea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonard Jivulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Caramitru having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
