Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dumitru Drăgoi started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Răduț got free with Martin Nițisor in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cazimir Mincu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Drăgoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Ion Prodan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Mincu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Drăgoi struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Cazimir Mincu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Super Buni. After some careless play in the Puini CSM defense, Ion Prodan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cazimir Mincu. The Puini CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cazimir Mincu should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute, Mihnea Macovei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dumitru Drăgoi in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cazimir Mincu saved Puini CSM from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Ion Prodan put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cazimir Mincu. Dumitru Drăgoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Mincu having to interfere. If Dumitru Drăgoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Puini CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Prodan came free, but Cazimir Mincu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dorel Mereacre came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the FC Super Buni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorel Mereacre couldn't finish the play. When Radu Piersic, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 48 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cazimir Mincu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marius Borogeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cazimir Mincu made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ion Prodan sent off a good shot on target. Ion Prodan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cazimir Mincu having to make a save. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for FC Super Buni. Dacian Penaru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cazimir Mincu. 0-4. Puini CSM's Cazimir Mincu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Drăgoi in the 67th minute of play. Ion Prodan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Cazimir Mincu made a huge save. If Ion Prodan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puini CSM's goalkeeper Cazimir Mincu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Vornicescu's late challenge caught a FC Super Buni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Vornicescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, one of Puini CSM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Puini CSM. 79 minutes into the match, Dacian Penaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cazimir Mincu. Puini CSM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dacian Penaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Ion Prodan struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Cazimir Mincu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Super Buni. Cazimir Mincu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Drăgoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Ion Prodan notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Puini CSM's Cazimir Mincu. Cazimir Mincu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dumitru Drăgoi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. FC Super Buni's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. FC Super Buni's Ion Prodan got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cazimir Mincu made a fantastic save in the 101st minute, when Ion Prodan sent off a good shot on target. FC Super Buni's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
