The audience thought a goal was coming when Alin Moga got free with Eduard Tănase in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Corlățean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Niță in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, SS Gașca Nebună's Romeo Niță sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Corlățean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SS Gașca Nebună's Eduard Tănase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Zbârlea in the 16th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudiu Maniu made a kick off. Romeo Nițăs short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Ivan Corlățean to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudiu Maniu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivan Corlățean. That made the score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. Denis Paulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Corlățean having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Niță got free with Ivan Corlățean in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Rasculatii de la Bobilna's goalkeeper Ivan Corlățean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Paulescu. If Ilie Cămătaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rasculatii de la Bobilna manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing SS Gașca Nebună to win.
