Spectators: 5010 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Martin Nisipeanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Striharet's Martin Nisipeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alin Covrig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alin Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Nisipeanu in the 6th minute of the match. Iulian Istrătescu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Francisc Micescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Striharet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Nisipeanu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alin Covrig saved FC Victoria Bordusani from getting behind. In the 23rd minute of the match Marcu Erbașu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alin Covrig skillfully saved the ball. Vlad Ardeleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alin Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Nisipeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 played minutes FC Victoria Bordusani got a freekick which was hit by Irinel Crivac. After having played for 35 minutes, Francisc Micescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Striharet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisc Micescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Martin Nisipeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Irinel Crivac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Victoria Bordusani and the Striharet players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ştefan Bucuță made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Victoria Bordusani booed when Striharet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Nisipeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ştefan Bucuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Martin Nisipeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Iulian Istrătescu fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Striharet's protests and gave Iulian Istrătescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Striharet got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Istrătescu. Ştefan Bucuță scored 1-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Petrică, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 78 minutes, Irinel Crivac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alin Covrig made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Francisc Micescu sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, FC Victoria Bordusani's goalkeeper Alin Covrig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisc Micescu. After a rather tough play, Striharet's Felix Popic got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Victoria Bordusani lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
