Gelu Feraru started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, ABK Black Warriors73's Niculae Miclescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dacian Ecobescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Niculae Miclescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ABK Black Warriors73 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, ABK Black Warriors73's Niculae Miclescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dacian Ecobescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cornel Panaitescu made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ABK Black Warriors73's Virgil Stănoiu. Eugen Cernat took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dacian Ecobescu. Dacian Ecobescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Cernat in the 22nd minute of play forced Old Boys's goalkeeper Dacian Ecobescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dacian Ecobescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Cernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Ecobescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Cernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Eugen Cernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Eugen Cernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Ecobescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Eugen Cernat sped through Old Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dacian Ecobescu. Eugen Cernat might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dacian Ecobescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugen Cernat ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugen Cernat to make the kick off. Virgil Stănoiu took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dacian Ecobescu. Dacian Ecobescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 55th minute, Alex Lera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Miclescu came free, but Dacian Ecobescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugen Cernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Eugen Cernat managed to get in a good position for a shot. ABK Black Warriors73's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Cernat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dacian Ecobescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugen Cernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sorin Spelbu got free with Dacian Ecobescu in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dacian Ecobescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Cernat in the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugen Cernat got free with Dacian Ecobescu in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rdth minute of the game Georgi Asparuhov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Old Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Eugen Cernat scored to the left of an out of position Dacian Ecobescu, making the score, 0-7. In the 92nd minute, Eugen Cernat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dacian Ecobescu. The goal made the score 0-8. The Old Boys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ABK Black Warriors73 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
