Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Uwe Schram to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peio Bouzas in the 69th minute of play forced Old Boys's goalkeeper Dacian Ecobescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Gelu Feraru made a precise shot to the right of Ardahan Hiçyılmaz. Real Mangalia - BTF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. In the 78th minute of the match, Peio Bouzas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dacian Ecobescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 83rd minute, Peio Bouzas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dacian Ecobescu. The goal made the score 1-7. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Paco Rabanera took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Dacian Ecobescu to make any attempt to save it. Old Boys's Dacian Ecobescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Old Boys from getting a goal against them. After 96 played minutes Paco Rabanera rounded Old Boys's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-10. Real Mangalia - BTF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
