Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicu Vornicu in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ardahan Hiçyılmaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ardahan Hiçyılmaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicu Vornicu's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After 6 played minutes, FC Acatar's Edgar Șeicaru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ardahan Hiçyılmaz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Acatar reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Felix Logofătu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Acatar's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Logofătu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardahan Hiçyılmaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Logofătu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ardahan Hiçyılmaz having to interfere. Ardahan Hiçyılmaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Vornicu in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Uwe Schram in the 14th minute of play forced FC Acatar's goalkeeper Ekhemos Kezdoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, FC Acatar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Tănasă to maneuver through the defense. The Real Mangalia - BTF fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Real Mangalia - BTF's Paco Rabanera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Real Mangalia - BTF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Codrin Zogreanu in the 35th minute. Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Uwe Schram in the 41st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Jens-Uwe Schram made the kick off in the second half. Nicu Vornicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ardahan Hiçyılmaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Real Mangalia - BTF's Ardahan Hiçyılmaz got control of the ball when Nicu Vornicu tried to sneak it across the goal line.
