Horia Barbosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Drăgoi in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to F.C. Sadjc getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Florin Braica hit a great ball. After some careless play in the F.C. Sadjc defense, Francisc Drăgoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horia Barbosu. The F.C. Sadjc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horia Barbosu should have stopped the shot. Victor Zota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horia Barbosu having to interfere. Horia Barbosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Ciompec in the 42nd minute of play. Victor Zota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. F.C. Sadjc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Zota was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Francisc Mugur made the kick off in the second half. Horia Barbosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Ciompec in the 52nd minute of the match. Victor Zota took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horia Barbosu. Horia Barbosu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After having played for 62 minutes, Francisc Drăgoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSM ALEXANDRIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisc Drăgoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgil Panciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Airidas Brazauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Braica, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Francisc Drăgoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horia Barbosu having to interfere. Virgil Panciu might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horia Barbosu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihnea Harnagea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horia Barbosu having to interfere. In the 84th play minute Victor Zota came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Horia Barbosu. 0-6. In the 89th minute, Victor Zota ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horia Barbosu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The audience was convinced that Virgil Panciu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horia Barbosu was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. CSM ALEXANDRIA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
