The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tudor Sântimbrean might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ekhemos Kezdoglou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tudor Sântimbrean ran back to his position shaking his head. Tudor Sântimbrean scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ekhemos Kezdoglou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Sântimbrean in the 12th minute of play. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afşin Şehzat in the 13th minute. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Afşin Şehzat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to FC Acatar getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Svante Malmström hit a great ball. If Tudor Sântimbrean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Sântimbrean in the 18th minute of play. Ekhemos Kezdoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Sântimbrean in the 22nd minute of the match. FC Acatar's Ekhemos Kezdoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Sântimbrean in the 60th minute of play. Tudor Sântimbrean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a huge save. Marius Stolnicu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Octav Tănasă sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Bungeanu skillfully saved the ball. Tudor Sântimbrean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augustin Albu took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ekhemos Kezdoglou. Ekhemos Kezdoglou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. FC Acatar's Ekhemos Kezdoglou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save FC Acatar from getting a goal against them. After having played for 84 minutes, Tudor Sântimbrean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Sântimbrean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Augustin Albu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
