The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavius Pârâianu in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinand Lucaci saved Team MILO from getting behind. After a rather tough play, AC MiLaN's Flavius Pârâianu got a free kick in the 10th minute. Team MILO's Ferdinand Lucaci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Pârâianu in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, AC MiLaN's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Czekaj came free, but Iurie Chiriacescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavius Pârâianu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Czekaj in the 21st minute of play forced AC MiLaN's goalkeeper Iurie Chiriacescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobromir Czekaj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Chiriacescu having to interfere. Team MILO's Ferdinand Lucaci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Pârâianu in the 37th minute of play. AC MiLaN were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Team MILO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nae Ionescu took the corner. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Văcărescu to make the kick off. AC MiLaN's Iurie Chiriacescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Bratoloveanu in the 56th minute of play. Iurie Chiriacescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Bratoloveanu in the 57th minute of play. If Rareș Bratoloveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Iurie Chiriacescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rareș Bratoloveanu's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes AC MiLaN got a freekick which was hit by Nae Ionescu. Iurie Chiriacescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rareș Bratoloveanu's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Văcărescu in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinand Lucaci saved Team MILO from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in AC MiLaN's zone, Dobromir Czekaj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iurie Chiriacescu came out of the goal and Dobromir Czekaj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AC MiLaN's Basarab Avram was substituted for Emil Văcărescu. 81 minutes into the match, AC MiLaN's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Bratoloveanu came free, but Iurie Chiriacescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Team MILO booed when AC MiLaN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Chirilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Lucaci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Avram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Lucaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Pârâianu in the 92nd minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, AC MiLaN's Flavius Pârâianu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Lucaci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Team MILO's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because AC MiLaN had won, even though Team MILO had held more of the ball.
