The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Alin Chiru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Gotzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, FC Acatar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Martin to maneuver through the defense. FC Acatar's Ekhemos Kezdoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Gârbovan in the 26th minute of play. When FC Acatar's Alin Chiru in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gashka Nebuna's goalie prevented a goal. Astor Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Chiru in the 36th minute of play. The Gashka Nebuna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Acatar were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alin Gârbovan made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Alin Chiru took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Astor Gotzon to make any attempt to save it. In the 62nd minute Denis Jdeica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alin Chiru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Astor Gotzon made a huge save. In the 72nd minute Nicu Vornicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Gotzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Acatar's Luciano Vitin pulled a muscle in his leg after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pompiliu Benga during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Acatar's Alin Chiru got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Jdeica hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. FC Acatar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
