The penalty shot was made by Emanuel de Godoi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Last Stylebender's Nicu Grecea. 1-0. Alkın Berksan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicu Grecea having to make a save. Last Stylebender's Nicu Grecea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkın Berksan in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Tăcutu in the 11th minute of play forced Last Stylebender's goalkeeper Nicu Grecea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Costică Tăcutu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicu Grecea. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. If Petruț Buteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Costică Tăcutu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicu Grecea was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 23rd minute Gică Craioveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Tiberiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When David Ghioncu fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Last Stylebender's protests and gave David Ghioncu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Last Stylebender getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. David Ghioncu hit a great ball. Petruț Buteanu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Nicu Grecea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MARIUS MARCOV. MARIUS MARCOV's Petruț Buteanu got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Martin Niculcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Tiberiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Costică Tăcutu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicu Grecea. The goal made the score 4-0. Nicu Grecea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Tăcutu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Tăcutu couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Last Stylebender's goalkeeper Nicu Grecea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Costică Tăcutu scored 6-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Grecea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Niculcea in the 73rd minute of play forced MARIUS MARCOV's goalkeeper Vintilă Tiberiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Romanescu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes of play, MARIUS MARCOV's Costică Tăcutu made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Grecea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicu Grecea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Tăcutu in the 79th minute of play. Gică Craioveanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Vintilă Tiberiu made a huge save. Nicu Grecea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkın Berksan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes Last Stylebender got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Romanescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Tăcutu in the 95th minute of play forced Last Stylebender's goalkeeper Nicu Grecea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MARIUS MARCOV's Vintilă Tiberiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Niculcea in the 96th minute of play. MARIUS MARCOV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
