Liverpool FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamo Speia the free kick. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gicu Isai hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the game, Dinamo Speia's Clodoveo Dominix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monte Quintarnaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Marius Vataman came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Liverpool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marius Vataman couldn't finish the play. Monte Quintarnaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonid Prutean's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Delinschi in the 13th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Monte Quintarnaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liverpool FC's Monte Quintarnaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Prutean in the 19th minute of play. Leonid Prutean scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Monte Quintarnaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Dinamo Speia booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Pânzaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Tasos Mermigis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's Valera Cernei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorel Stângã narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Stegaru. Dinamo Speia's Leonid Prutean got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Monte Quintarnaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonid Prutean in the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Anatolie Perju got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gigel Schiau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Liverpool FC's Monte Quintarnaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Prutean in the 36th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marius Vataman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Monte Quintarnaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Schiau, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the game, Valera Cernei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Dorel Stângã was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Dominix in the 57th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Monte Quintarnaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Dinamo Speia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Barbãneagrã to maneuver through the defense. Leonid Prutean's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Monte Quintarnaya skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dinamo Speia's Leonid Prutean was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonid Prutean in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Monte Quintarnaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Ion Delinschi made a precise shot to the right of Monte Quintarnaya. Liverpool FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Leonid Prutean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monte Quintarnaya having to interfere. Valera Cernei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Monte Quintarnaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonid Prutean. Gicu Isai got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gicu Isai hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Monte Quintarnaya was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Leonid Prutean capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonid Prutean really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Valera Cernei got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ion Delinschi came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Monte Quintarnaya could save by the left post. Monte Quintarnaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonid Prutean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Dinamo Speia's Ion Delinschi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Monte Quintarnaya. Monte Quintarnaya yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool FC's zone, Ion Delinschi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Monte Quintarnaya came out of the goal and Ion Delinschi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dinamo Speia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
