With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikos Kioubouroglou in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marios Kostis saved Dhafnν BC from getting behind. In the 12th minute Errikos Sofianos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenios Kalouptsidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marios Kostis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nikos Kioubouroglou showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Dhafnν BC's Marios Kostis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Kioubouroglou in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikos Kioubouroglou in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marios Kostis saved Dhafnν BC from getting behind. Alkis Spiliotis kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Dhafnν BC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ntinos Sikas in the 29th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PANATHINAIKOS's goalie and right to Valentinos Argyratos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PANATHINAIKOS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dhafnν BC's Marios Kostis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Dhafnν BC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Nikos Kioubouroglou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marios Kostis was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 40 minutes, Themis Peridis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PANATHINAIKOS and the Dhafnν BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sotos Kakotaridis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Kioubouroglou in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marios Kostis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Themis Peridis managed to get in a good position for a shot. PANATHINAIKOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Themis Peridis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marios Kostis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marios Kostis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Kioubouroglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58thth minute of the game Nikos Kioubouroglou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dhafnν BC's Marios Kostis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the PANATHINAIKOS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
