Hong De Cheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Nekos having to interfere. Dimitris Nekos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hong De Cheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Thomas Tzirakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ardosis's zone, Hong De Cheng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Nekos came out of the goal and Hong De Cheng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hong De Cheng kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dimitris Nekos. That made the score 5-0 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Hong De Cheng made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Hong De Cheng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Nekos was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Hong De Cheng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Nekos was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The Ardosis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitris Nekos should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute Hong De Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Nekos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ardosis defense, Hong De Cheng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitris Nekos. The Ardosis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitris Nekos should have stopped the shot. Hong De Cheng might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitris Nekos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hong De Cheng ran back to his position shaking his head. Dimitris Nekos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hong De Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Ardosis's goal looked a bit too open when Hong De Cheng came free, but Dimitris Nekos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Hong De Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Nekos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
