The goalkeeper, Tolis Mantouvalos, was totally fooled by Mean Machine's Boruc Smolak, who 4 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Tolis Mantouvalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedim Emekli in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Nedim Emekli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tolis Mantouvalos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 15th minute Argyris Kazantzas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Lambros Dimitrakis's late challenge caught a Toutourouki f.c.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lambros Dimitrakis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Toutourouki f.c. booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lambros Dimitrakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nedim Emekli in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolis Mantouvalos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, Nedim Emekli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tolis Mantouvalos, 3-0. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Toutourouki f.c. from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Dimitris Stefanoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toutourouki f.c.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitris Stefanoglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefanos Salepis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Nedim Emekli took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Tolis Mantouvalos to make any attempt to save it. Vrasidas Liouras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefanos Salepis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Lambros Dimitrakis was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vrasidas Liouras in the 49th minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Stefanos Salepis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vrasidas Liouras to make the kick off. Tolis Mantouvalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedim Emekli in the 54th minute of play. The corner led Mean Machine's Agnaldo Braga to fire away a dangerous shot which Tolis Mantouvalos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nedim Emekli in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolis Mantouvalos saved Toutourouki f.c. from getting behind. Mean Machine's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agnaldo Braga in the 61st minute. The corner led Mean Machine's Agnaldo Braga to fire away a dangerous shot which Tolis Mantouvalos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mean Machine's Nikos Stasinos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iraklis Moustakas, made in the 64th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nedim Emekli came free, but Tolis Mantouvalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mean Machine's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agnaldo Braga in the 66th minute. Tolis Mantouvalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedim Emekli in the 71st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Nedim Emekli put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tolis Mantouvalos. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tolis Mantouvalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedim Emekli in the 78th minute of play. Toutourouki f.c. were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Mean Machine's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stefanos Periou took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Iraklis Moustakas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Nedim Emekli kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nedim Emekli in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolis Mantouvalos saved Toutourouki f.c. from getting behind. In the 90th minute Nedim Emekli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Mantouvalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Toutourouki f.c. defense, Nedim Emekli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tolis Mantouvalos. The Toutourouki f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolis Mantouvalos should have stopped the shot.
