Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Palo's Gunnar Hindpere started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bert Uluots fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Niitsoo having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Albert Aruväli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Albert Aruväli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Hindpere in the 7th minute of play. Albert Aruväli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Hindpere, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ago Isa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Priipalu Konnad's supporters rose to their feet, but Ago Isa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uno Niitsoo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Heinola got free with Albert Aruväli in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Palo's Elmu Urb got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Oliver Heinola came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Palo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Heinola couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Priipalu Konnad's Bert Uluots got a free kick in the 24th minute. Oliver Heinola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Aruväli having to interfere. Ago Isa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Bert Uluots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Niitsoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Aruväli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Heinola in the 33rd minute. Priipalu Konnad's Bert Uluots got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunnar Hindpere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Albert Aruväli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bert Uluots stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Uno Niitsoo managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Priipalu Konnad's Ago Isa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bert Uluots recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Uno Niitsoo managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Priipalu Konnad's Ago Isa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Oliver Heinola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Palo's goalkeeper Uno Niitsoo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ago Isa. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Palo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Priipalu Konnad:s goal. Jens Höijer shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Priipalu Konnad! Albert Aruväli had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Kalmer Reikop's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Kalmer Reikop did an outstanding performance 75 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-0 to the right of an irritated Albert Aruväli in the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Hindpere in the 81st minute of play forced Priipalu Konnad's goalkeeper Albert Aruväli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Aruväli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Heinola, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Ago Isa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Uno Niitsoo, passed just outside the right post. Oliver Heinola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Aruväli having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Ago Isa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uno Niitsoo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ago Isa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uno Niitsoo having to make a save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
