The supporters of Beşiktaşk booed when Düzici SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evren Temren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Mustafa Hakan Özil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hasan Ali Çağakan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 played minutes Düzici SK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Tetiker. 17 minutes into the game, Hasret Kayıhan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hasan Ali Çağakan. Hasret Kayıhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 20th minute Selmi Ilımlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur Yalman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hasan Ali Çağakan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Nasir Demiray in the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Hakan Özil in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hasan Ali Çağakan saved Düzici SK from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Düzici SK's Selmi Ilımlı got a free kick in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Düzici SK's zone, Mustafa Hakan Özil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hasan Ali Çağakan came out of the goal and Mustafa Hakan Özil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Selmi Ilımlı made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ahmet Nasir Demiray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 51 minutes, Mustafa Hakan Özil made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Düzici SK's Hasan Ali Çağakan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Düzici SK's zone, Mustafa Hakan Özil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hasan Ali Çağakan came out of the goal and Mustafa Hakan Özil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sabri Hekimhanlı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hasan Ali Çağakan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustafa Hakan Özil's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Selmi Ilımlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Onur Yalman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selmi Ilımlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute of the match, Selçuk Safih got a very nice opportunity to score, but Onur Yalman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Evren Temren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beşiktaşk's Mustafa Hakan Özil got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Selçuk Safih could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Onur Yalman made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Sabri Hekimhanlı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beşiktaşk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 91st minute, Mustafa Hakan Özil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Beşiktaşk fully deserved thier win.
